(2) This privacy policy applies to the website (landing page). A separate privacy policy applies to the Planetrack mobile app.
3. Hosting & provision of the website (Vercel)
Our website is hosted and delivered via Vercel. For this purpose, Vercel operates a worldwide content delivery network (CDN).

When you visit the website, the following data is processed automatically:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- browser type and version
- operating system
- referrer URL
- pages visited
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. In addition, your approximate location (country) is used on your first visit to select the appropriate language version; no profile is created in the process.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)
As Vercel is a US provider, personal data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
4. App Store & Play Store badges
The website includes badges and links to the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
When you click on the badges, you are redirected to the pages of the respective provider. The respective provider is responsible for any data processing there.
5. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we process:
- your email address
- the content of your message
- any other information you provide voluntarily
The data is processed solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

6. Waitlist (Klaviyo)
On the website, you can join the Planetrack waitlist to be notified when the app launches. We use Klaviyo to send these emails.

Data processed:
- email address
- language of the website on which you sign up
- time of sign-up and of confirmation
- IP address (proof of double opt-in)
- email opens and clicks on links in them
Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: you are only added to the waitlist once you click the link in the confirmation email.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in every email or by sending a message to info@planetrackapp.com. We store your data until you unsubscribe.
As Klaviyo is a US provider, personal data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
7. Web analytics – Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to analyze how the website is used.

Data processed:
- IP address (truncated)
- usage data
- device information
- interactions
Google Analytics 4 no longer uses traditional cookies, but may use similar technologies.
Data is only processed after you have given your consent via the cookie banner.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses.
8. Consent management (cookie banner)
We use our own cookie banner to manage consents. Your choice is stored only locally in your browser (local storage) and is not transmitted to third parties.
This ensures that:
- optional services are only loaded after consent has been given
- consents are documented
